“Portrait of a lion”
The white lion (Panthera leo krugeri) is occasionally found in wildlife reserves in South Africa and is a rare colour mutation of the Kruger subspecies of lion.
Testing out my newly acquired Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II USM. This shot was coupled with a 2x Extender III giving me a focal length of 400mm.

“Last Day (2012)”
Decided to start a new project called “Last Day”. On Dec 31st, you take the last photo of the year. Contrary to the last day of 2011, in Cyprus, yesterday there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky.

“Tzielefos Bridge / Γεφύρι του Τζιελεφού”
This ancient bridge, situated 440m above sea water in the forest of Pafos, has been built during the Venetian rule of Cyprus (1489 - 1571).
Instead of photographing only the bridge, I tried to compose it within a scene, by incorporating a foreground element as well.

I was invited on a TV show here in Cyprus, to talk about photography, timelapse and present the video I did of Nicosia (vimeo.com/36277251). The show was broadcasted nationally, and also internationally via satellite (RIKSat).
I added English subtitles for my friends who don’t know Greek. Sorry for any mistakes in the translation, it was done in a hurry.
