“Paris at blue hour”
From atop the Tour Montparnasse. I recall literally running through the streets of Paris with my gear trying to catch the sunset light from the building’s top floor.
I remembered a quote that made me chuckle: “Amateurs worry about equipment, Professionals worry about time, and Masters worry about light”.
Inside, they had these huge massive windows that reflected the fluorescent bulbs. So I improvised and used my jacked as a curtain, by hanging it over the camera and window. The entire setup looked really dodgy and I was getting eyeballed by people. But I got lucky because there was no security around to kick me out.

“Trocadéro esplanade / Esplanade du Trocadéro”
The Trocadéro esplanade, offers the most panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower. I used a long exposure to blur the people, thus suggesting that the Eiffel tower remains firm, immovable whilst people, clouds, and time pass by.

“Structure of the Eiffel Tower”
The tower is built of puddled iron (very pure structural iron), and weights 7300 metric tons. It is extremely light. The tower actually weighs less than the air that surrounds it. If a scale model of the tower 30 cm (one foot) high were constructed, it would weigh only as much as seven grams (a nickel)!
Th tower moves in the wind. On days with high, gusting winds, visitors can feel the tower swaying gently at the summit. Under such wind conditions, the tower is usually closed to the public.

“Eiffel Tower / La Tour Eiffel”
The Eiffel tower was named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel and erected in 1889. Since then, it has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world. The tower stands 320 metres (1,050 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building.

“Perfect symmetry”
One of my favourite photos from 2012. I was waiting in this position with my tripod for about ten minutes for people to move out of the shot (at least around the pyramid). There was a massive rain cloud above the Louvre and suddenly a small beam of light appeared from the right and lit the pyramid and the palace behind. I took two shots, and the light was gone.
